THE ARTIST BEHIND
All the illustrations are painted by hand by me, Marianne Scheel, with watercolors and some of them may have a finish with colored pencils, which I use to highlight small details. Everything you see here is painted, scanned, designed and produced by me from my studio in Skibby, a little town in Zealand, Denmark. However, the greeting cards and larger formats, such as art posters, are printed at a Danish printing company in Zealand. Many hours and care have been put into each illustration and each product. I'm really looking forward to being able to bring them directly in to your store and out to your customers without any middleman. The products come directly from the artist herself and out to your clients.
I find my inspiration in my love and admiration of the natural life and the surroundings around me in Hornsherred, where I live with my family and from all the wonderful garden flowers from my own garden... and when my garden doesn't look exactly like I had hoped for, well , then I paint it instead, like for example the "Dahlia garden" illustration where I failed planting a Dahlia bed in my own garden.
It is my belief that nature can do much more than we give it credit for. With my small floral motives, I want to bring nature's peace, energy and joy into the home, so that we are reminded of all the beauty that is outside, even if the winter darkness is upon us and the biting cold wind is rushing outside.
The greeting cards
I have designed several different motives which you can see in my wholesale shop, and I always have lots of ideas for more that I will continuously work on, so do take a look once in a while to see if there are some new cards “on the shelves”.

All cards are printed on 260 g. FSC paper. The size of the square greeting cards folded is 14,5 x 14,5 cm and the size of the mini cards A7 size cards folded (7,4x10,5 cm). Each square card comes with a white envelope and is packaged in a clear cellofan bag. Pack size 15 x 15 cm. Each mini card comes with a white envelope. The mini cards can be packed in cellofan bag for an additional cost of 1 DKK Including VAT. All cards are painted, designed and produced in Denmark.

Giclée art posters
All giclée posters are hand signed and dated with the year the painting was created. They are printed on high quality 210 gsm and FSC certified paper (sustainable forestry). The paper has a warm toning color and a soft surface that is ideal for highlighting the realistic and highly detailed illustrations. I deliver small Giclée art posters (A5, A4 and A3) packaged in a clear cellophane bag with cardboard back for better protection. I pack larger formats in a Ø7 cm cardboard roll. Feel free to contact me if you want a different type of packaging, special information on labels or anything else.

If you have any suggestions on how I can improve my items to suit your needs, please don't hesitate to contact me.
